Congrats! If you are reading this you are either about to welcome your bundle of joy into the world or, you are currently enjoying all of the newborn snuggles! Either way, getting photos done with your newborn is a great idea to capture that precious time in your life and to have the memories to hold onto forever.
If you are wanting to capture some sweet photos with your newborn but are unsure of what you should wear, today I am here to make life easier and give you some ideas.
Keep It Simple
Keep the color palette simple and avoid too many patterns. Try to avoid dressing everyone in completely different colors or making things too complicated. You just had a baby and life is hectic as is. Focus on being comfortable and minimal.
As for baby, pic a neutral onesie or swaddle. Dress him/her up with a sweet little hat or bow and be sure to grab sentimental objects you want to be captured like a blanket or stuffed animal.
Coordinate Outfits
Based on your chosen color palette, the next tip is to ensure you coordinate the outfits! Make sure your kid’s outfits complement each other. You can even match what color you’re wearing with the baby. Another thing to keep in mind is the level to which you dress.
If you want to go with a comfortable and casual look, make sure everyone matches that. If you want to get a little dressed up, dress everyone up!
